Never thought I'd do it but...
my sweet little boy has developed quite the little chomper mouth. Luckily he hasn't bit any children since his first week of school last August. However, he has taken recently to trying to bite me and Katie and Derek and Amy, you know all those ones he loves. So tonight he leaned in to bite me and I said, if you bite me, I'll bite you back. He looked at me like, you wouldn't! Then of course, he bit. And what did I do? What every good mother who is trying to teach her child a lesson does, I bit him back. We'll see if it worked...

You bite that baby!! He tried biting me today, and I told him if he did I'd bite him back, and he told me "biting hurts, Daphy" and he used his better judgment not to bite me!
Hooray! Granted he did try to bite me again today, but he stopped when I said I'd bite him again. He's learning!
Ah! I so sympathize - Patrick hasn't bitten me in ages, but he goes after Catherine very regularly . . . not to mention the shoving and pushing and slapping on the side of the head. Granted, she deserves it alot of the time, but still . . . .
