Cheeze

We took a last minute trip to Terramont Park this afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather and I also took the opportunity to finally test-drive my new camera lens. I got it for Christmas, but I haven't really played around with it much. I had a lot of fun with it today. The girls weren't really up for having their pictures taken, so Kyle got to deal with most of it. He's stopped flashing his cute smile and has turned it into a quick "cheese" that I hope to capture, but usually fail. And for some reason his "cheese" has even turned into more of a growl. He was quite the character today.

On the way home from the park I am stopped at a light and hear Katie in the back exclaim, "Oh I LOVE that car!" as a woody PT cruiser turns in front of us. "Mom, it looks like REAL wood! It's so pretty!"

You did a great job with the new camera lens. Of course, it helps that you have such beautiful subjects!

And the car comment - sounds like some random stuff that Jake says all the time. "Look at that beautiful tree" - while pointing to a half-dead, leafless tree. Or "Mom - I love that show. It is hilarious." But when I ask him what the name of the show is, he has no idea!

Kids sure are funny!
