MIA or just M?

Wow, I started this post last Friday and am just now getting around to finishing it. So, I am going to delete ALL of it and start over. Done!

It's been a week since I posted, so here's the recap:

Monday - blur.
Tuesday - work plus more work at Open House. Blur.
Wednesday - not my favorite day this year. I had a dentist appt in Houston and plans to eat lunch with bff Marcie, but when I left the dentist my car was dead. Called a tow truck who jumped it and then drove to meet my dad at what he thought was NTB (notice the B for battery), but was really just Discount Tires, no B for battery. Now my car is dead AGAIN. He jumps it and I follow him to B for battery place while my engine light is on and my oil light is blinking. I'm driving down the freeway reading my owners manual and freaking out because it says severe damage to engine can occur if you drive while the oil light is blinking. Luckily it was all a show because of the battery. I got a new battery and discovered the lights went away, as well as my window operation and my car stereo. What?!?! It's an anti-theft device which is all nice and good, except I didn't steal my own car. So after more research in the owner's manual, I learn that there is supposed to be a card with a sticker that has a code on it. Hmm. I bought this car used and seem to recall that there was no owners manual in it, they just went and swiped it from another Pilot on the lot. So, no card, no sticker, no code. I called my service guy and he gave me this long story about how it's impossible to get the serial number off the radio for two years of Pilots, but if they can get it off then he can look up the code. Otherwise, he'll have to find the originating dealer and see if they have the code. Well, I can't get to the dealer until Friday. My kids just did not understand why they could not listen to HSM3 on the stereo. And well, if that won't work, just put on KSBJ. Sorry kids. But actually it was sorry mom because you don't realize how much noise is filtered out by your music until it's gone. Not to mention how lonely it is in a car when you have no music. We survived using my walkman phone which can play FM radio, but that sucked my phone battery dry too. Turned out that my serial number came right up on the stereo - I wish he had just told me how to do it. If you ever have that problem, let me know I can tell you how to get it. I also can fix your auto-window...both of these things he could have done over the phone on Wednesday, but you know then I wouldn't need the Honda guy, right?
Thursday - blur
Friday - got my stereo fixed! Hooray!

Not really sure what else went on last week. Derek and I went to A&M on Saturday for his 15 year reunion. We went to the basketball game against K-State and watched the Aggies get outscored. It was a good game though.

That's about it. Not feeling too excited about blogging anymore. Could this too be one of those hobbies I do for a while and then move on to something else? Should I add it to the list of hobbies past? quilting, scrapbooking, painting, etc.? I don't know. I guess only time will tell. Have a good one.

Wow, I cant hardly believe you just said that. I know you have never been too big on commenting. Which there are alot of us out there who tend top be busy, but your are a GREAT blogger and would be truly missed. I mean I know you so I wouldnt miss you as much as some others probably, but I wouldnt know about as much comings and goings at Rude Manor as i do now.

Not to mention the most important thing, as I have told you before, your blogging crakcs me up. It is so funny how you present a story. You should have been an author of something for real because I have NEVER started reading one of your posts and not finished it.

So I just thought I would add my two cents and tell you that if you did quit blogging I would for sure miss you!
