Facebook Frenzy
So, one of my dear friends (you know who you are!) joined Facebook this week at the urging of her sister. She sent me an invite and I thought, hmm, okay I'll check this out knowing full well that I rarely get on the MySpace page that I created (at the urging of friends also). In less than 12 hours (I did sleep in there) I have somehow become addicted to looking for people I haven't seen or talked to in YEARS. And I must confess that I like it SO MUCH BETTER than MySpace (despite my other friends telling me that they didn't). I think because it's cleaner looking, easier to navigate and seems more professional. MySpace seems like a big drunken party where you walk in and go "what do I do? where do I go? where are my friends? where are the drinks?" As you can see, I'm not comfortable walking into big drunken parties since I haven't done that in quite some time. So I think I'll be working on my Facebook profile a little more and see where it leads. I've already found a sorority sister who I haven't seen in ages as well as a few friends from high school that I've lost touch with. Who knows it could be the novelty of it all for now. The newness may wear off and I might actually forget about it. If you are on there, feel free to send me an invite to be a friend. I might actually add you!
So are you on Facebook???
P.S. Because I overanalyze everything, I realized while drying my hair just now that I may have offended my friends on MySpace. That was not my intent at all! Do not take it that way. I'm not abandoning you and I promise, I have no other friends! And sometimes I enjoy those big drunken parties on MySpace (and at Wings N More) Tee hee.

now see, here I thought that I was the one who got you on it, and I wasn't! I'm glad you're on though - I've found so many people from A&M that I haven't talked to in ages - it's insane!
Take your Facebook and shove it! You are no longer invited to our drunken myspace parties. Your Facebook friends will never compare to us!!!
Am I going to have to start approving comments on here, Amy??? And I thought it was Bethany who would have been offended...
Sorry Tiffanie - but you were my second friend on there! ;-)
My sister just convinced me to join Facebook yesterday and I have been on it a hundred times since. It addictive! I, too, have found a ton of people who I haven't talked to in years. It's kinda fun!
