Oh No! Waaaah...
This is what I hear coming from the kitchen moments ago. It's just Kyle and me; he's eating breakfast and I'm (as usual) on the laptop.
Kyle: Oh NO! [crying]
Me: What's wrong?
Kyle: I have a Kix in my nose! [more crying]
Me: [laughing and walking into the kitchen]
Kyle: I have a Kix in my NOSE!
Me: Well, why did you put it in your nose?
Kyle: I don't know. [trying to blow it out and touching his nose]
I remained very calm because
a) I've had first aid training many times for preschool children and I know that as long as it's not a rock or something hard, you can squish it and blow it out.
b) It's been sitting in milk for 15 minutes while he's been eating his breakfast (eww!)
c) This is not the first time he's had a foreign object up his nose...and the last time it was a crayon that was stuck and we ended up in the ER (thanks to his beloved sister).
Needless to say, the slimy Kix blew right out. A few minutes later I asked again why he put the Kix in his nose. "Because I did."

Sophie has had a FO (foreign object) up her nose- it was a raisin. Why are kids so intet on showing things up thier noses? I don't get it.
It was nice to see your note and I had no idea that you had a blog. I have already bookmarked you so that I can keep up with what is going on with you guys.
Take care, Lisa
PS- do you still scrapbook? I seem to remember you saying that you are no longer doing C but have moved on to something else. I'm still selling (and mostly buying!) CM stuff and I'm still in love with it all. I wish I had more time to do it though.
