Scrap Happy!

I have been a busy little bee (as my mom would say) today! I am getting ready to go away for the weekend without the family! I want to say a little cheer here, but that would make it seem that I don't want to be around my family. So I will merely state that I am looking forward to some time by myself so that I can recharge and enjoy my family even more.

A couple of friends of mine and I are heading to Round Top to stay at a B&B and scrapbook all weekend. It has been way too long since I've done anything in my kids' books. I got a bit overwhelmed even just packing it all up, but I have outlined what I hope to get accomplished. We'll see if I actually get that much done. To give you an idea of what needs to be done...I had photos from Kyle's 1st birthday printed out this week and located stacks from Kyle's 2nd birthday, Katie's 4th birthday and 5th birthday and everything between there. I highly doubt I will get that much done, but you never know what can be accomplished once you get started.

So I was a nice wife/mommy and I finished the laundry, finished the dishes, set out the outfits for tomorrow and changed the cat boxes (the worst job in the house I might add)...all to let my hubby know that I love him and appreciate him. Thank you for my weekend away!
